Our mission
The Rigging Zone is more than a physical place or loft where our team of professional riggers work. It also acts as an educational platform that provides an environment where skydivers (from beginners to experts) can consult us for advice related to purchasing and selling gear as well as the maintenance, inspection and repair of their equipment. Of course, our riggers can make most types of repairs, but they are also trained to offer answers and to help anyone who needs assistance with their equipment. Their goal is to promote and share knowledge related to skydiving equipment and safety.
In the last year, we have enriched our team of professional riggers, which enables us to make our vision for the Rigging Zone a reality. We recently trained two FAA Senior Riggers who have been working full-time since October 2018, as well as two CSPA Riggers A and A1. They are now an integral part of our team of talented riggers, some of whom have been with us for many years.
To make sure we offer the best services possible, we also purchased top of the line sewing equipment and planned for a brand new rigging loft at each of our drop zones. Finally, we work in collaboration with Mobility Lab, a renowned industry leader in the field of military equipment, and have the support of an additional FAA Senior Rigger and an FAA Master Rigger who show extensive experience with all types of equipment, including military parachute systems.
The Rigging Zone services are offered at our three skydiving centres:
- Parachute Ottawa, Arnprior, Ontario
- Parachute Montreal North Shore, Saint-Esprit, Quebec
- Parachute Montreal South Shore, Farnham, Quebec
